Moving to Thailand

I worked as a marine biologist for a research institute in northern Europe, spending most of my time in labs or on short, cold-water expeditions. While I loved the science, I always dreamed of living closer to warm tropical seas, where the ecosystems I studied actually thrived.

After a few research trips to Southeast Asia, I started wondering if I could relocate permanently. That’s when I discovered https://thailand-real.estate/ and began looking for a home near the coast. I eventually chose a small house outside Krabi, close to several marine conservation centers.

Living here has been transformative. Now I spend my mornings assisting with coral restoration projects and my afternoons collecting data in crystal-clear waters. My new home gives me easy access to the coastline, and the peaceful surroundings help me stay focused on my work.
