The Social Network (2010) 720p BrRip Dual Audio [Hindi-English] G@ur@vConventional wind mills are used to produce electricity. Some have long rotors and others are considered short rotor wind turbines. Typically, these wind turbines utilize a single rotational axis mounted so as to rotate about an upright axis. These rotational axes are typically orientated in a north/south direction and rotated by the wind. These wind turbines are positioned in an area where wind is present, or more likely where wind is most probable. They are typically used in a location where there is not a great deal of danger from lightning strikes. In this manner, the conventional wind turbine will generate electricity and this electricity will be supplied to a power grid. Short rotor wind turbines are often more efficient than conventional wind turbines as conventional wind turbines have rotors extending radially outward from the base. This means that the blades of the conventional wind turbine are exposed to more wind than is desirable. As a result, much of the power output is lost as the wind gusts against the blades resulting in a much lower power output than possible. In contrast to conventional wind turbines, the typical short rotor wind turbine is positioned to face into the wind and deflect the wind into the rotor. This results in much higher power output than is obtained with conventional wind turbines. It is however desirable to combine as much wind as possible in a short rotor wind turbine to increase the overall power output of the wind turbine. As much as possible means redirecting the wind further from the base of the short rotor wind turbine. This is normally achieved by varying the angle of attack of the rotor. This means that the blades of the rotor are normally oriented into the wind to deflect the wind as much as possible into the rotor. This is usually done using vane cambering in the rotor. Referring to FIG. 1, this figure shows a wind turbine having a base 2. The wind turbine is shown as being located in a position facing into the wind for the purposes of illustration only. The wind turbine is rotated by means of the rotational axis 3. The rotational axis 3 is situated to a horizontal axis 4. The horizontal axis 4 is a reference axis having a 0 degree reference point. The axis 4 is also shown as being perpendicular to the base 2 of the wind turbine. This is also a reference point for the purposes of this document. As can be seen in FIG. 1, the wind turbine 3 is rotated by the wind. As the rotor of the wind turbine rotates and deflects the wind, the angle of attack of the rotor blades changes. The amount that the angle of attack of the rotor blade changes depends on the amount of wind that is heading towards the rotor. For example, if the wind was to head towards the rotor in a direction 5 (for example by passing down the rotor), the angle of attack of the rotor blade will rise. If the wind was to head towards the rotor in a direction 6, the angle of attack will drop. This is the most typical case and is normally achieved through the use of conventional vane cambering. It is therefore desirable to produce a short rotor wind turbine that is able to deflect the wind towards the rotor in a direction 6 to improve the power output. It is also desirable to produce a short rotor wind turbine that is able to increase the angle of attack of the rotor blades in a direction 5.
